Text message (SMS) policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
CoachTide provides practice management software for independent coaches. When a coach turns on text reminders, CoachTide sends their clients appointment and session reminders by SMS from a CoachTide number, on the coach’s behalf. This page explains who receives these messages, how recipients consent, what the messages contain, and how to opt out.
How you opt in
Text reminders are off until you ask for them. You give consent by checking the consent box when you book a session on a coach’s public booking page, or when you sign your coaching agreement (which includes a text-reminder consent option). You also consent when you provide your mobile number directly to your coach for appointment coordination. Consent is never a condition of receiving coaching, and the consent box is never pre-checked.
This is the opt-in shown on the booking page:

What you’ll receive
Transactional appointment and session reminders only (for example, a reminder the day before and shortly before a scheduled session). We do not send marketing or promotional texts on this number. Message frequency varies with how many appointments you have.
Rates, HELP, and STOP
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply HELP for help.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you can also ask your coach to remove your number. After you opt out, no further reminder texts are sent.
- The reminder number is send-only, so replies other than STOP and HELP are not monitored.
Your privacy
Your mobile number and SMS consent are used only to send these reminders. They are not shared with third parties for their own marketing, and consent is not sold. For full details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
